Why LFP
Why LiFePO4?
LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate, or LFP) is the lithium chemistry used in most solar and backup batteries today. It has replaced lead-acid and tubular batteries in many Pakistani homes and businesses.
- Long life. Manufacturer ratings run from 2,000 to 8,000 cycles, depending on the model. A lead-acid battery typically gives a few hundred deep cycles.
- Safer chemistry. LFP is more thermally stable than the NMC chemistry used in many phones and EVs, which matters in Pakistani heat.
- More usable energy. Handles deep discharge well, and the voltage stays flat under load.
- Light & compact. 16 × 314Ah cells (≈16 kWh) weigh about 91 kg in cells. That's a fraction of the equivalent lead-acid bank.
- Low maintenance. No water top-ups, no acid fumes.
Heat shortens battery life
EVE rates the LF100LA at 5,000 cycles at 25°C, but 2,000 at 45°C. Keep packs shaded and ventilated, away from direct sun and hot tin roofs. Never mix brands, models or batches in one pack.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of lithium (LiFePO4) battery cells in Pakistan today?
Cell rates move with the dollar, freight and supply, so we quote the day's rate rather than publishing a price list. WhatsApp us the model, quantity and city for today's rate.
Which cell is best for a 48V home solar battery?
For about 5 kWh, use 16 × 100Ah or 105Ah cells (EVE LF100LA, EVE LF105 or Cornex PF160-100A). For about 16 kWh, use 16 × 314Ah cells (EVE MB31 or Cornex PF173-314A), and for about 18 kWh, 16 × EVE LF356L 356Ah. Fewer large cells mean fewer busbars and BMS channels.
What does Grade A mean, and how can I check it?
Grade A cells are new first-grade production cells from the manufacturer, not B-grade, refurbished or second-hand. Every cell we supply has a QR code and its own test report, so you can check each one before building your pack.
Are your cells new or old stock?
They are fresh 2026 production, bought direct from EVE and Cornex.
Which cells can I use for an e-rickshaw or e-loader?
Check your controller's continuous current. Per the manufacturers' datasheets, the Cornex PF160-100A is rated 1.5C (150A) continuous, while the EVE LF100LA and LF105 are 1C (100–105A). The large 314Ah and 356Ah cells are energy-storage cells (≈0.5C) and are not meant for traction packs.
How many cycles do LiFePO4 cells last?
It depends on the model and the test condition. Manufacturer ratings range from 2,000 cycles (EVE C33-V2) to 8,000 cycles to 70% health (EVE MB31 and LF356L) at 25°C. Heat shortens life: EVE rates the LF100LA at 5,000 cycles at 25°C but 2,000 at 45°C.
Can I mix EVE and Cornex cells, or old and new cells, in one battery?
No. Use one brand, one model and one batch per pack. Mixed cells age differently and the BMS cannot keep them balanced. Even where case sizes match, as with the EVE LF100LA and Cornex PF160-100A, don't mix them.
Do you install batteries or build packs?
No. MESOL is an importer and distributor. We supply cells to pack assemblers, installers, dealers and end customers across Pakistan, and we never compete with the installers we supply.
Where is your stock and do you deliver?
Cell stock is in Karachi (S-1, Estate Avenue, SITE Area). We also have an office in Lahore and supply buyers nationwide. Tell us your city and we'll confirm the delivery options.
Can I get the datasheet and test reports?
Yes, ask on WhatsApp. We share the manufacturer datasheet for the model and the QR code and test report for your cells.
