The Cornex PF160-100A is a 3.2V, 100Ah (320 Wh) prismatic LiFePO4 cell for energy storage. Its datasheet rates it at 1.5C (150A) continuous discharge, more than many 100Ah ESS cells, which helps in UPS and higher-load packs. Design notes
- Per both datasheets, the PF160-100A case (160.1 × 50.0 × 118.5 mm, 97 mm pole spacing) is almost the same as the EVE LF100LA (160.0 × 50.1 × 118.5 mm, 97 mm). Even so, do not mix brands or models in one pack. Check terminal type and busbar fit before swapping.
- Cornex's charging current drops to 0.5C above 45°C. Ventilate packs in summer.

Frequently asked questions
Is Cornex a good brand?
Cornex New Energy is a Hubei, China maker of energy-storage and EV batteries, founded in 2021. The PF160-100A is its 100Ah ESS cell. We supply it direct from the manufacturer, with a QR code and test report for every cell.
Cornex 100Ah or EVE 100Ah: which should I choose?
Both are 3.2V 100Ah LFP cells of almost the same size. Cornex rates the PF160-100A at 1.5C continuous discharge against EVE's 1C for the LF100LA, while EVE quotes more cycles (5,000 vs 4,500 at 25°C). Pick one brand per pack and never mix them.
What is the cycle life of the Cornex 100Ah cell?
Cornex's datasheet gives 4,500 or more cycles at 100% depth of discharge (to 80%), or 6,000 or more at 90% depth of discharge (to 70%), at 25°C.
